I’m so excited to share that my creative space has had a makeover! My newly rebranded website, Cass Walsh Art, is now live—refreshed, reimagined, and infused with the spirit of nature and adventure that inspires everything I create. This update feels like a deep breath of fresh forest air, a place where all my creative expressions as an Australian Nature Artist can finally sit side by side, connected by my love for the wild and the handmade.

This new home is more than a gallery—it’s an unfolding story. Think of it as stepping into my world: a blend of earthy textures, untamed landscapes, and quiet moments with nature. From camera lens to canvas, from carved wood to woven fibre, from words scribbled on a page to polished poems, it’s all here—curated and alive.

Let me take you through the heart of this refreshed space:

Through My Lens

My camera is my way of listening to the landscape. With it, I capture the intimate details that often go unnoticed—the veins of a leaf, the play of light across water, the shimmer of wings in flight. My photography is less about sweeping vistas and more about those quiet, intimate landscapes that whisper stories when you pause long enough to see them. The macro world in particular draws me in; it’s where the ordinary becomes extraordinary.

On My Canvas

When the camera rests, the paintbrush calls. My paintings are landscapes too, but they aren’t always about realism. Some are sweeping, recognisable places; others are abstracted impressions—layers of colour, texture, and memory woven together. I love experimenting with mixed media, letting materials dictate where the story flows. Each piece is a dialogue with nature: sometimes soft and contemplative, sometimes wild and untamed.

By My Hands

I’ve always had a deep respect for craft and the rhythm of making with my hands. My artisan work is rooted in tradition but guided by curiosity. Carving, weaving, and bushcraft practices are my way of staying grounded, of working slowly and intentionally. Every handmade piece carries the imprint of time, patience, and connection to the natural world.

In My Words

And then there are the words—always weaving themselves into the spaces between images and objects. Poetry is where I process, reflect, and dream. Sometimes it’s a single line scribbled on a page while out in the bush; other times it’s longer, more contemplative works that grow into collections. This section of my site is dedicated to those written offerings—stories, reflections, and the rhythms of language shaped by the same forces that guide my art.

A Journey to Being an Australian Nature Artist

This rebrand isn’t just a facelift—it’s an alignment. A bringing together of all the threads of my creativity into one cohesive space. It feels more authentic, more me. I want visitors to step into this world and feel the pull of adventure, the quiet of nature, and the joy of craft.

I’d love for you to explore the new site, wander through each section, and maybe discover something that speaks to your own sense of wonder. After all, art isn’t just about creating—it’s about connecting.

So, welcome. Let’s walk this path together.
